I love the new features in X3. I jumped from Sonar 7 to X3.
Obviously, it opened up a lot of new possibilities, like region fx.
I've seen V-vocal mentioned, and I have Melodyne, so I know about
those two. But, I'm anxious to see what other things can happen there.
I tried looking through the site, and searching this forum, but, I haven't
found much info.

Welcome to the forums DeMaggio

Currently I believe the options are V-Vocal, Melodine and Vocalsync*.

* You need Platinum to have this.

Thank you. I found the bit about ARA plugins. I was just searching the web for some. What about R-mix? I saw that mentioned somewhere as well.

I don't know any about R-mix, sorry.

R-mix is not available in X3, it was an FX in a previous version. I still have it from that previous install but it's not a Region FX, at least not on my system.

RRegion fx have special properties assigned them to work in that way.

It's not like you can get a VST plugin and have it work within the Region fx. It's part of Sonar's program.

As already mentioned there are only 3.

Melodyne also can operate as a VST3 plugin,
V-Vocal is a DX fx but only available with some earlier Sonar versions. It can only work as a Region fx
Vocalsync is only available within the Region fx of Sonar Platinum.

Thanks. I haven't upgraded to platinum....yet. But I will as soon as the wallet allows.

Don't forget there's a payment plan option.  Yes it costs a bit more in the long run, but allows you access to everything from day 1 with a small* monthly payment.

*small by comparison to the full one off price,  I realise that it could still represent a sizeable outlay.
