Has anyone seen this I have Dim Pro installed but in Exp pack 2 under "Grooves" all the sounds are missing in the "Drum N Bass" and the "Hip Hop"  folders, the patch list is there but when I select a sound it says windows can't find the file and this is a fresh install on a reformatted computer I had the same problem before that though so I'm not sure what the deal is.

What version of Dimension Pro?  There have been issues with some of the older 64bit versions and some patches that rely on rex-files because at the time there was no rex-support libraries that Dimension Pro could use for rex patches in the 64bit world.

I have the exact same problem with Dim Pro 1.5 but on Mac (OS X 10.6.6)

I have searched for the missing Drum n Bass multisamples and they do exist.

I think the Program file just isn't able to locate the directory where the REX files are located. Maybe it's pointing somewhere else.

Anyone know how to fix this?

The Expansions where installed to default locations. How to I point the .prog file to look in the correct place?

All of the synth/samplers.... DimPro included should have a file tree... normally located in the browser view. This is important since many people including myself install the sound libraries on other drives in the computer.

All you need to do is open that browser window in the sampler and navigate to the drive and folder that contains the samples. Click it and you're good. DP will be able to find them in the future.

If the files exist, as you said they do, then it's simply a matter of locating them in the browser of the synth.

I can't tell you more than that since I'm not on the DAW right now to open my synth.

Ok, I'll try that this evening (I'm at my daytime job now).

The multisample files do exist (down to the exact multisample filenames Dim-Pro reports as missing). They are in a subdir called Drum n Bass/REX Loops, Drum n Bass/REX Samples or something like that (don't remember exactly - not at my DAW now).

Thanks for the tip. I'll post back with the outcome.

Cheers!

Ok,

Multisamples are located in

Dimension Pro Content/Multisamples/72 - REX Drum Loops/Drum n Bass Breaks

I navigated there with the Dim Pro Load Multisample dialog, but still no dice: Dim Pro can't load the REX files if I select the program

Any ideas?
