  • [Solved] Open project in CbB from Explorer

I am used to navigating to different projects or versions in SPlat using Windows Explorer. I could always open another project in SPlat by double clicking the .cwp in Explorer. This would open the project in existing iteration of SPlat. (I would then have 2 projects open concurrently which is what I want.) NOW in CbB if I have an instance of program open with a project, if I double click new file in Explorer it tries to open a second instance of CbB. This is not good as the new instance tries to use audio drivers already in use. The only way to get 2 projects open at same time in CbB is by using File/Open. I do not like this behavior! Meng, can you fix?

There is a setting in prefs to allow opening multiple projects. Not sure of the exact wording, but look in prefs and it should be there.

In prefs: File - Advanced - Allow only one open project at a time is UNchecked. No joy.

I just tried opening two projects from the OS. The both loaded into the same instance of CbB.

I double-clicked on one cwp file in Windows Explorer.
That started CbB, loaded the project and ran an automatic background scan.
Then I navigated to another project folder in Windows Explorer, double-clicked the cwp file in that folder.
The second project opened in the same instance of CbB.

Wow... not so for me. If I follow same process it wants to open a new CbB. What could be wrong?
