EASY ZOOM with help of ZOOM IT!

Does your eyes getting tired of small GUI interface when you working in SONAR?
Now you can ZOOM in on XP, VISTA and WINDOWS 7 like the same function that already are built in on OSX.

The free application is called ZOOM IT and are made by the Tech-GURU Mark Russinovich microsoft..

With help of Ctrl+1 or Ctrl+4 (you can set you own keycommands) you can zoom in on things on your screen. Work perfectly with Sonar 8.5. A other tips is to connect a "special key" on your mouse or your keyboard that let you use this ZOOM in and out..

Is anybody making this work like a magnifying glass, with an app's functions still working?

Not here. I guess that was too much to hope for!:) It does what it does well, though. It's just not that useful for me.

It's a temporary screen shot which you can move all around in, but the screen is static as long as ZoomIt is activated.  Could be useful in Sonar for inspecting tiny knobs on a soft synth GUI or something, then knowing what you're looking at after you go back to normal view.

But maybe my experience isn't everyone's---Is anybody making this work like a magnifying glass, with an app's functions still working?

ZOOM IT application
Okay I will help you get going with this.... YES you can "Live Zoom" and work with your mouse on applications in zoom mode..

"Live Zoom" with help of----> Ctrl+4 (default key) "Live Zoom" you can zoom in and still work with your mouse on the applcations in zoom mode. "
Live Zoom" (Ctrl+4) work only on VISTA and WINDOWS 7-platform.
A great tips is that you program a special button on your Logic Mouse that makes "Live Zoom" (Ctrl+4) "Zoom in and out" for you in a click and go..

"Live Zoom" Ctrl+4 function does not work on ----> old XP. On XP you can only use the normal "ZOOM" (Ctrl+1) to take a closer look.

How to make it "Auto start" when I restart windows...

1. Right click on your mouse.
2. Go to--> "New" and then "make shortcut"
3. Make a short cut to the ZOOM IT-application on you harddrive.
4. Go to "Windows"-Button ("start menu"). And then --> "All Programs" and then navigate to--> "AutoStart"
5. Right click on "AutoStart" and then press on----> Open
6. A new window opens.
7. Add the shortcut you just created to the
ZOOM IT-application inside the "Autostart" map.

Next time you restart windows,the
ZOOM IT-application will automatically start in background.
Hope it helps.

Melodyne editor and SONAR 8.5.3 x64bit with J Bridge.

For us that have no time waiting on Melodyne going x64bit need to use J Bridge instead.
It took me a while to figure out the setting in J Bridge. Melodyne hangs & crashed sometimes in SONAR bitbridge too. J Bridge crashed sometimes as well until I figuar out the settings that work in SONAR 8.5.3. x64bit and Melodyne Editor x32bit.

Now it seem to work very stable. You need to activate following setting in J Bridge and it should work just fine without any GUI that don't refresh itself or other problems like crashes.

Un-mark "x" the setting

* "audiomasterGetTime hack:"

Mark "X" the following setting inside JBridge.

* Prevent main hostcontrol when GUI-Window is closed
* I am getting a dispatcher opcode 19 error message
* Sluggish GUI hack:

Hope it helps!
