I still use k-lite on my non video production pc.
Dub, you'll like this......Just got a Kudos from John Boorman.... ( I sound designed this film in Sonar, no probs with Sonar, some with OMF's but you know my workaround...blah blah)
Here is what he had to say....

I see from the back of the cover that this short has been garlanded at festivals across the universe, and rightly so. It is a bold and daring piece. This is David Lynch's version of the Alien . This was as far as he got when they fired him. When he pulls out the gun from the stomach I expected a miniature John Hurt.
The casting and acting are splendid. I was hoping it would all end in gore and death and it almost made it. The gun fails to go off so it ends in the words of TS Eliot 'Not with a bang but a whimper.' Why don't you work it up as a feature?

That is a quote from Boorman himself!!!
The moral of this story is that Sonar is a great DAW if you know what you are doing.
