That would be a good topic for a new thread. I'd be interested to hear people's experiences.

I did a rollback from Cambridge to Braintree.

It's as simple as select rollback where you get a small dialog asking which of the previous versions, select and it happens. Almost too fast to believe it even happened. There you go.

Recorded some midi. As soon as I'd finished recording, access to all views ceased - can't access piano roll, event list, console, etc.

The project I'm working on (which has a rapidly approaching deadline) can no longer progress.

Good times.

Is there a single locked forum page (or one on the Support page) that can show these announcements where each new version is appended, mainly to keep them all in one place with fixes, improvements and such? I'd like to see what changes occur and which named versions are the latest or which one I need to try to check against if the latest version gives me trouble. Thanks!!

Great idea brconflict. If it is not locked it will be full of distractions.

The New Features page in help is updated with each release http://www.cakewalk.com/D...lp=NewFeatures.01.html

Thank You for the info scook. I was aware of that page it is just not somewhere I go daily nor do I check C3 daily.

brconflict's idea just sounds like a good one that would not be that much trouble since updates only occur once a month?...

I like the idea of a sticky, locked FAQ which lists the contents and fixes included in each release too...

I'm guessing the link scook kindly supplied is fine using the online help system, but that makes it more of a search... A sticky in the forum would be a fast find and an easy reminder!

But if you're a member when the update comes out you get the eZine that details everything that comes with the release. There's also other docs with info on what's been fixed updated and new features.

If you weren't a member for the release then it would be useless information. If you skipped the release you can't rollback. So just download the release and its info and decide if you do or don't want to install. You'll always get announcement on the forum that a new release is out.

Can you imagine in 12 months time all the stickies that would be on the front page with release info if each one was kept there.

A single web page with all the ezines on it will do fine. Do we have that? Not sure.
