Any way to select a track and quickly remove ALL the spaces between clips?

interpolated
Select the clip. then Process > Audio Effects > Remove Silence (select-threshold) and use the choose the gapped method.

Note this doesn't remove the audio, it merely cuts it off at the threshold points. You can select each clip as an object and rebounce it Save as A Clip.

Thanks.

But what I want to do is remove the spaces between about 3 dozen clips.

Any ideas?

Select them all and bounce to a single clip/track

I find your wording very confusing.
Do you want to combine the clips to one clip maintaining the position of the content, or do you actually want to remove what is now between the clips? The latter would mean deleting the bars/time between the clips or moving the clips from their original position so that they would line up without gaps.

Yes. Is there a quick way to do this?  I have 3 dozen clips, and spaces between them where debris was eliminated. Selecting each space and choosing to remove it will take like a longer time.

I suspect no quick way exists. But I have suspected wrongly before.

I believe you're right. AFAIK there's no other way than to do it gap by gap, manually.
But I think that dragging the clips is faster than deleting the spaces. Starting from the end would lead to
having chunks of several clips you could move together. If it's all on one track it shouldn't take long, five-ten minutes.
If the size of the clips allows it would be useful to set Snap To Grid accordingly.

Unless there is a CAL-function for it. I've never used CALs so I know nothing about them.
