Thanks but of course I'm aware of all that, this is about just figuring out how it will be for those who do not have any Cakewalk software from the past.
I'm sure Noel could just tell us, but I always do things the hard way :)

I really dn't understand why a feature list wasn't created. It wuldn't have taken anytime. Take the Platinum feture list and delete the extras. Being this would probably lead to someone creating a comparison with the  Comparison Chart they already had, then it cud have just been added to that.

I would think that BandLab will monetize on Rapture Pro, Z3ta, LP-EQ, LP-MB, Adaptive Limiter, LA-2A, other PC stuff, Drum Replacer etc. not in the first installer for those non-SONAR Platinum users.

Those of that had that in SPlat wil eventually get installers. Which should negate the need for CCC.

Sorry, I posted this on the facebook group but not here - a comparison chart is coming. Please remember that there will be more things added and updated into the next version that weren't able to be part of Early Access. Drum Replacer will be back, for example!

So we didn't want to put out misinformation as to what exists and also there are still a few things pending contractually for other things as it's a new company. Lesser of two evils, hope you guys can understand.

Thanks for all you're doing Meng! I am very grateful.

Each post I read of yours continues to create an image of a great future for CbB as well as the music world in general.

I am very comfortably moved into CbB and look forward to a continued life of new development!

Thanks Meng!
When CbL leaves the Early Access stage it will continue to be free? I continue without understanding the business model of the DAW Do you plan to monetize plugins and kept the core DAW for free?

I have installed the free version on my test computer and apart from a few issues with registry entries (my fault due to an earlier steam version leaving stuff behind) it works quite happily on the next windows build so far and scanned in all my 3rd party VST's.
Also this time you do get a warning that a new build is about to take place before you shut your PC down and on the plus side it didn't screw up my audio set-up for the 1st time.

This has probably been asked.....I have the full Sonar Plat last full version, do I need to install the additional content version or just the Cakewalk only?

Yes I downloaded Cakewalk by bandlab. I have splat and have forever, at least as long as it has existed. Upgraded to the top level every time it was available and when I open CbB, after going into preferences and rerouting the search for vsts everything is there. And everything works. That was about all I expected. I figure if I was starting from scratch I'd just invest in a good quality package of plugs.
