Any ideas on how to add random pan positions to a track?  Is there a CAL or something?

Ideally, the pan positions would change in tempo, like every 1/8 or every 1/4 or something.

I could fake it by drawing by that's tedious and we modern technology guys are too cool for that.

Thanks!

PS My new album in the works is sort of a neo-hippie thing so I'm doing stuff I wouldn't normally do (like a phase shifter on a Farfisa). Maybe I could find some dude/chick on acid and put him/her in charge of the rotary encoder.

Is the "random pattern" tool still there in Platinum? In the tools HUD, control bar, or F9.

Pancake 2 is free and great, can't remember if it has a random function though.
