Thanks for the help scook & stevec. That did the trick. I didn't catch on to the new Control Center method of selective installations. Now that I understand it, I like it.

We still need a PDF ... help is fine for a quick lookup while at the desk.  I want a PDF to put into dropbox so I can read from a tablet.

It shouldn't take a month to put out a PDF.  Which makes more sense, 100s of us finding and running an online converter, or somebody at Cake doing it once and verifying the result?

BTW - Platinum is running great in Win8.1!!  :)

Is there a Sonar Professional Reference Manual PDF yet? If so, where is it located?

Thanks.

The Braintree update should have placed it in the same directory where the SONAR executable is located (default is C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\SONAR Platinum)

Is the PDF readable on an iPad? I just entered the dark world of Apple and bought an iPad so, I'm not very familiar with it yet. The thing I noticed about the PDF on my laptop is, it doesn't seem to be searchable. Am I just missing something?

I could be very wrong, but thought I remembered that being one of the big complaints about iPads - that they can't open PDFs.

But Search should work fine in Windows. Ctrl+F to open the Find dialog.
