Can somebody confirm it has the same menu as on the right side for the Console colors option ?

Except for the language it looks the same to me. Don't know if it is by design.

What I DO know is X1 contained several color listings that did not apply so in later versions some of these were removed.

Also, closing and reopening Sonar is necessary for some colors to take effect.

Bascially X1 colors options ,, some of those are gone in Platnum ...(maybe even in X3 don't know)

I cheked the registry and there's defintily less entry ...i will try to copy on key of X1 to platnum to see if it works ..if so , this could be a workaround !!!

I will post the saved key ;)

I doubt it will work because Sonar writes the colors to the registry, so any you add will be erased or ignored the next time Sonar is launched.

We will just have to see if Cakewalk confirms this is by design or not, alternatively try here:

Well, I can say for sure that X3 and Platinum are the same.

I took X3 and Platinum side by side, and every color option in X3 is in Platinum.

This is 100% correct. Among X1's quirks, one was that a lot of color options didn't actually do anything and were sort of "legacy" color stuff from 8.5. That got cleaned up in subsequent versions.
