I've searched all over and can't figure out if this is possible or not.

I have multiple youtube channels under a single email address.

In the Sonar X3 youtube publisher dialog box, I enter the email address in "Account Name" and password for credentials, and I'm authenticated and the video uploads as expected. (Account Name: [link=mailto:bob@example.com,]bob@example.com,[/link] password: password)

But, if I try to upload to a specific channel (Account Name: ChannelName, password: password), authentication fails.

Does anyone know if this is possible or is it only supported to upload a video to the "master" email account?

Sure, I can create a movie file from the audio, but it's extra steps when I could do the same thing from within Sonar.

Unfortunately, Youtube doesn't have channel moving functionality itself, which would also work.

Good question, I'm curious about this as well.

I didn't figure out how to post a track to different channels on Youtube, but used a workaround.

In the Youtube setetings, it's possible to change the default channel you post to when logging in with your email address. You can point your email to any of the channels under that email address. This is working OK for me since I don't post that often to Youtube any way.

What would be nice - the Sonar/Youtube publisher would allow selection of channel from within Sonar itself.

Yes that sounds like the best workaround.
Like you, it's not something I do often at all, but having the option on the fly is great.

One problem may be the rate that YT updates it's system, so switching the channel manually like that may be the only option in the long run.

Thanks for the info soundscribe!
