This is my first post.  I've been using Cakewalk since 1992.  Aside from composing New Age Meditation Music, I play and run a Jazz guitar instruction site, http:www.jazzguitarstartingright.com.
On my site I used the male choir patch for a sing along ear training thing.  When I tried to back up the vocal track with a string track, I found that the individual intervals in the vocal track were badly out of tune.  This seems to be a fault in the sample.  I found a way to raise or lower the whole track incrementally, but that did not cure the individual intervals.  Does Cakewalk have a fix or a feature to correct this.

Cakewalk have acknowledged tuning problems with the samples for this and other patches (mostly basses) in Dim Pro. They were reportedly working on a fix, which may have made it into the Dim Pro Content update that came with X1. I don't know because issues with the s/n registration discouraged me from trying to install it. Dim Pro updates always seem to be something of a crapshoot. You might want to ask about it on the X1 forum.

EDIT: Now that I think about it, though, given that there hasn't been a new Dim Pro update for non-X1 buyers, I doubt there are any tuning fixes in the X1 update.

You should be able to download the free Expansion Pack 3 from here - http://www.cakewalk.com/S...reader.aspx/2007013208

You have to download Packs 1-3, but maybe you can select to only install pack 3 when they're downloaded. If not then you'll have to install packs 1 and 2 again.

I think pack 3 fixes out of tune basses and adds some new sounds aswell.
