The picture that I posted was the one taken after the recent Braintree update. Before that, the only CA-X Amp showing in the Browser was the one stating "CA-X Amps Sonar". The one that states "CA-X Amps" appeared after the Braintree install.
There has never been a "CA-X Amps Producer", even though I have only had the Producer version of TH2 installed on my system. I do also have the full version of TH2 installed, which was installed after TH2 Producer was installed in X2 I think it appeared.

It's tough trying to connect with Tech support when in Australia. I'm hoping they will start replying via email and can offer a few suggestions. Anyway, thanks again and I will post any updates I have. It certainly is a weird issue.

I just wanted to update this thread as I'm still trying to work my way through this problem (when I have the time), and I didn't want it to drop off the forum in case someone else may have the same issue, or someone from tech support may still be able to help.
Cakewalk support has not replied to me regarding this, apart from the initial automated response saying that my email has been received. My thanks also to Craig and scook for looking into this at the time.
I think I have narrowed this down to my initial install of Sonar, which was version 8 Studio, then the update to 8.5 Studio. I then upgraded to 8.5 Producer, and have had the Producer version of X1, X2, X3 and then Platinum.
I think that any of the Effects Chains that require TH2, can only see that the Studio version has been installed at one stage and has got stuck on this and installed the Artist and Pro version of these effects. This includes the Vox tools in the Anderton Collection, I get "Vox Tools(Artist and Pro)" and get the error stating that TH2 Sonar is not available.
If someone at technical support could check that this could be an issue, then maybe I could go from there, my computer skills are not enough to get me past that point.
Here's hoping.

I've pinged support and suggested a way they might be able to fix this. Meanwhile, maybe you could try an experiment...go into the plug-in manager and temporarily exclude the full version of TH2. Then re-scan and see if you can load the amps. Maybe SONAR is seeing the full version, so it ignores that Producer is in there...I don't know...but if SONAR then sees the amps, you can go back into the plug-in manager and re-enable TH2 full. I have both versions installed on my system and they co-exist peacefully.

Sorry it's taken so long and I hope there will be a resolution soon.

Thanks Craig, that was the type of thinking I was looking for; worth a try, but no joy. I'm thinking that the next step is to try uninstalling the old Studio versions of Sonar, but that opens up a whole new can of worms. I'm going to try and find other fixes before I resort to that step.
I hope that you will keep this problem in the back of your thinking, and let me know if something new occurs that might help. This is not a huge issue for me or my workflow but I was really looking forward to the Vox tools, this also seems to require TH2 Producer. My OCD won't put this to bed and I will try things as they occur to me or are suggested by anyone that can think of a fix.
Thnx.

A bump for anyone that may have been following this issue, including Craig and scook for their help and suggestions. Joe at support has been able to email me the particular install files to get the FX Chain presets installed and working correctly, and they are now sounding as they should.
There are still some issues. It seems I still have some of the FX Chains that are installed for the Artist and Pro versions of Sonar (as well as the correct ones for Platinum), although I can probably just delete these from their respective folders.
I also think that the underlying issue of the incorrect version of TH2 being detected during installs has probably not been addressed, but I'll cross that bridge if I come to it. I doubt this is a big enough issue (it does seem that only I have this problem), for Cakewalk to take steps to insure this doesn't occur in any future installs that require TH2 Producer; but I am an optimist.
Also, just to let you know Craig, I am enjoying the "Dark Metal" FX Chain as it should sound, thanks for your efforts.
I'm not sure if I know how to mark this thread as solved, so if a Forum Host would like to do this, or tell me how, I would be most appreciative.
