Hi!
Can I use symbolic links or hard links on win 7 and win 8 to ...
- move sample content installed on C: to sample drive E:
- use a Sonar playlist & projects set up for C: drive on a backup machine where projects are copied to E: (i.e. can a symbolic link to a directory circumnavigate the problem that the entire playlist has to be recreated because projects are now located in a different directory??)
Which link do I have to use (symbolic / hard / directory junction) ... assuming that "mklink" is the proper way to set that up?
Any disadvantages doing this??
Many thanks in advance.
Rob
