I have a Novation Impulse 61, I use the Automap software to configure Sonar, in the end last step, Sonar freezes !?!

I also have Novation Impulse 61, and use Automap 4 in Sonar Platinum.
As you may have found, the install has many left turns, curve balls, and perhaps even a few wtfs.
I originally installed it with Sonar X3, then updated to Sonar Platinum version.

While I can say it works in Sonar, I would also qualify that with the fact not everything works as advertised.
First clue, all the tutorial videos are for other DAWs, though it claims they've added support for Sonar, I found the tech support to be lacking in depth knowledge of Sonar.

Hope you get the Sonar configuration part figured out, let us know more details of your issues ?
Did you get the Automap wrapped versions of all your plugins, or did it not get past that ?

I have the same setup working on Win 7 with Platinum, there was a struggle but I won finally. Can you tell me some details about how your 61 is cabled? usb to computer only ,or midi output to interface or both, what interface (mine is a berhinger fca1616)

what have you installed from Novation ( I took a wrong turn or two there)

At least I can offer you hope because I got it working on my stuff.

I also have platinium , I also tried to install the beta version of Automap, maybe I shold ge back to the 4.8 version again . Its a USB connect to PC, there are communication bethween  the 61 and SONAR, some pots and sliders I could use, pretty randomly with some Plugins. But, Novation offered me to remotely look at it if I install the teamveiewer....that was generous of them, I hope at least they can solve it :)

I have an impulse 61 running Windows 8.1. I don't automate much, but I have not had any problems with what I have done. I just watched Eli's latest groove3 and noticed that the keyboard behind him in the intro looks like an impulse, for what it is worth.
