Hello......
I am using X1 LE. I created and saved a project having duration of 1 Min 15 Secs but the exported WAV file is of 1 Min 46 Secs (additional empty space created towards the end of the track). I am citing some anomalies I have noticed in the project:
 
1. There's a marker I added which I am not able to delete now.
2. One of the synth tracks and one of the audio track are in 'orange' color while the all other while all other audio and synth are in 'blue'.
 
Why is that additional empty space created in the exported WAV file?

Unless a time based selection is made, SONAR will export to the last bit of data. Usually exports with unexpected silence at the end are due to MIDI data or automation nodes past the the last audible part of the project.

Might that marker you can't delete be at 1:46?  By default, Sonar will select the "full" length of your project.  But you can select any portion of a track, or tracks, to export.  Try highlighting just the section you want before you initiate the export op.

I corrected the automation nodes by bringing the last node to the end of the project.
What about the MIDI data? How to correct it?

If there is any MIDI data to clean up, the Event List is a good place to look.

I deleted one of the orange colored audio tracks and rerecorded it. And it worked. I guess if there's any anomaly in any part of a track, it gets highlighted by some easily visible variance like color.

I don't think that's the case, tracks can have different colors. Re-recording probably erased any extraneous data past 1:15.
 
When I have data past the end of the song, I just select all, drag across the timeline from the desired end of the song to what SONAR thinks is the end of a song, and Cut Special with Delete Hole. This won't get rid of all data (I think tempo changes remain, would have to check) but works almost all the time.

But if there was any data beyond 1:15 why was it not visible then? Usually, I do let the loop points remain on (and loop play off) till the end of the project (from the beginning of it) to make sure nothing extra slips into while exporting. And it always worked for me. I said the color thing because that was a striking difference I found in this project from the previous ones.
 
There is another issue related to hidden data which I found although it did not cause any trouble in this project. While groove clip looping parts of some other tracks it said 'hidden data beyond slip edit points will be discarded' and after I continued and played the project, the loop sounded distorted. I chose to undo the groove clip looping so it did not cause any problem.
