I'm experiencing something I haven't encountered before.  I'm doing a project for this group of bell-ringers.  It's a rather large ensemble.  I didn't record it but it was recorded in Sonar.  I'm using X3e.  When I first open the project I was soloing various tracks to find out what was what. That's when I discovered there were some hidden tracks.  I pressed ctrl H to un-hide them.  I can do pretty much anything with those tracks but when I click on any Pro Channel plugins I get no response at all.  Anyone encounter this?  These projects were recorded 44/24.

Just a stupid thought...

Did you also enable the PC (the master PC enable button)?

I've had that happen with projects imported from earlier versions of Sonar that didn't have PC...

...Just a thought.

hmmmm...  where is it?  I can't say I did or didn't.  I believe this project was recorded in 7.0.  So maybe that's the issue.

It should have automatically enabled the PC when you started adjusting anything, but I have seen it fail to do this.

At the very top of the entire PC itself, there is a round enable button.

a few thoughts ...

if it is a pre-X series project you may have to CtRL+click the "on" button for the EQ to switch from sonitus to PC EQ ...

also, if the track is frozen fr some reason with "Track FX" checked in the freeze options ProChannel will be deactivated ...

Also check to see if the tracks which were hidden are also archived.

Ah!  The Sonitus thang!  I'll give that one a try!
