Watching the Wakeman and Cousins DVD, from Strawbs 40th Anniversary Celebration.

Love the tone of Rick's Fazoli Grand and Dave's Banjo on "Witchwood" is sublime.

There is some humourous banter as you would expect from those two.

Prog Day!

Got this album from a friend - NICE!!!  Looking forward to more from them.

Check out the band's pedigree:

Lifesigns is a British progressive rock band. As of 2014, the band's members are John Young (Bonnie Tyler, Scorpions, Greenslade, Qango, Asia) on keyboards & vocals, Jon Poole (ex-Cardiacs, Wildhearts, Dowling Poole) on bass & vocals, Martin "Frosty" Beedle (ex-Cutting Crew) on drums, percussion & vocals) and Niko Tsonev (ex-Steven Wilson Band) on guitars & vocals.

Lifesigns was conceived in 2008 by John Young. Working together with sound engineer Steve Rispin, John had started to lay the grounds for the Lifesigns album in 2008. In 2010, John was joined by longtime friend Nick Beggs on bass, Chapman Stick and background vocals, and by drummer Martin "Frosty" Beedle to complete the first lineup of the band.

The band worked for over two years to complete their debut self-titled album, with notable guest stars such as progressive rock legend Steve Hackett (Genesis), Jakko Jakszyk (King Crimson), Thijs Van Leer (from Focus) on flute, and Robin Boult (from Fish) on guitar. "Lifesigns" was released in January of 2013.

This is one of my favorite discoveries of the past year, Round Mountain. I love this song, it's a lovely mix of styles and the audio production is incredibly vivid and a pleasure to listen to. Great sense of space in the vocal when listened to on good quality speakers.

This is a very catchy, quirky tune....Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti - Mature Themes. Love that creamy Mike Oldfield style guitar tone.
