Haven't heard this in years, but I always enjoyed this Sting album: Nothing_Like_The_Sun
("Be still my beating heart" is a great song).




Funny, I was thinking recently that I haven't listened to Sting in ages. I like this song a lot, and this version in particular. He had a great band back then.

I admit that I didn't know much about his work besides a couple of movie soundtracks - mainly Coppola's Bram Stoker's Dracula, one of my all-time favorites  - but I've recently discovered Wojciech Kilar's September Symphony, honouring the victims of 9/11. Stunning.

I've been enjoying some Colin Hodgkinson tonight....he's a great singer as well as his legendary bass playing, I don't think he ever sung with Back Door though. What a great sound.
