I posted last week that I had no signal to record a track. Here's what I have now; After I download the driver update for presonus audiobox usb I am able to record 1 time. After I am done recording one time it goes back to no signal. I can click on arm and the track turns red but no signal at all. I can go back and update the driver again (restart computer) and again record but only one time. Any ideas are welcome, thanks again.

So, the second recording attempt is on a different track?
If so, you have to set each track's input before you record. And, set it to None when you're finished recording.

Hi Greg, The second recording is on the same track. Say you are putting down a guitar solo and you make a mistake, as soon as I stop recording (to re-do it) the signal is completely gone.

What Driver Mode are you using?
You can try disabling the onboard sound card; perhaps it's stealing the audio from the Audiobox.

I am using the MME(32bit) mode. I will look up information on how to disable the onboard sound card, should I also try a different driver mode?

Yes, you should be using ASIO if it's available. That mode only allows 1 audio device to run at a time, so you wouldn't have any problems with the onboard sound card taking control.
You will also have to monitor from the Presonus. Plug your headphones and/or speakers into that.

I switched to ASIO and it worked, I can record as many times as I want. I do have to plug headphones into the audiobox, the only issue I have left is; I only have audio in one side of my headphones, if I pan a track to the right I can't hear it, panning left is fine . It's not a bad wire because they work fine everywhere else except with my keyboard..maybe that's a clue. I have 1/8 male so I use 1/4 adapter.

Try the headphones and adapter in something else.  Also try cleaning the 1/4" plug and the 1/8" plugs with a pencil eraser.  Then plug the 1/4" into the adapter and twist the plug back and forth a few times.  Could be either the adapter or headphone plug has some oxidation.

Be sure you have your input set to either the LEFT or RIGHT input from your interface and NOT the stereo input. Chances are good that you are using one output from the guitar processor/amp and you are putting it into one of the two channels on the interface and have the track input set to stereo input, vs using the correct Left or Right input in the track to match your physical input.

If you record with the STEREO input, it will send the signal to one side only.  The result is exactly what you are describing. When you send it in to the RIGHT or LEFT input, it makes a mono track. You will hear the playback on both sides equally and you will still be able to pan it left or right in the final mix.

I had to get another computer so I downloaded from my account my Music Creator 6 Touch.  Tried to record music from digital piano and music was distorted.  It worked fine on old computer.  What is wrong?
