Nah, if you invoke the same principle used to hang black men all over the country, even less than a hundred years ago, I'm going to remind you that you are...you know, invoking the same principle used to hang black men all over the country. It's not until you remind people how horrible their ideas are that they realize how horrible their ideas are. We used to believe the survivors, no matter the lack of corroboration or denials by the accused, and people got murdered over it, and we all shake our heads and judge the living crap out of them.
And then, what? Copy their principles...to try again a hundred years later? Only in the Twilight Zone do I actually have to type that out to otherwise grown adults. Regression, by the way, isn't evolution folks.
So yes, you want to resemble the southern dixiecrats and their really cool ideas on justice? Knock yourself out. The party of Lincoln won't be quiet while you do it, though.
If half the people in Wendy's go to Burger King and half the people in Burger King go to Wendy's, that doesn't change the signs. The party of Lincoln has always stood for rights conferred on merit, while the party of slavery has always stood for rights conferred by identity. Democrats revere democracy, republicans revere the republic. Philosophies and ideologies spill out from there and are predictable and timeless. Only the current events and local fads change day to day.
