What puzzles me is your writing:
" When I try to record from it..". What does that mean? There is no way to record directly anything from AD2, not MIDI nor audio.
It makes me assume you're trying to record by running/clicking the loops and kitpieces in AD2 user interface.
You can not record anything that way. You need to feed in the MIDI data either with a MIDI controller or e-drums, or by inserting the pattern in Piano Roll, or, most obviously, by dragging the loops from AD to the MIDI track, as you've already done.
Then you can freeze or bounce to tracks in order to get an audio track (which is not necessary, after all).
