I just bought Rapture. I installed the 1.1 upgrade and both expansion packs (they came in one installer). I opened Rapture but when I browse the presets, I can't see the two expansions (in the Rapture browser window). I have to click on "Load a Bank" in order to find the expansion folders and expansion presets. Is this normal or should the expansion presets be visible in the main browser window?

I'd have thought that the two expansions might've refreshed on their own, but it's been quite a while since I've run that installer. The first thing to try is open up the Program Browser. While it maintains 'focus' (before you click anywhere way from it), press F5 on your Qwerty. It should go blank for a few moments, and then you should be able to access the Expansion Pack programs from it.

The first time I ran the refresh browser it stayed "busy" for a few minutes, so don't think nothing ain't happening.

Thanks - pressing F5 helped!

I have the exact same problem.

But the expansions on Dimension Pro show up no problem; not so on Rapture. Does F5 work on Mac too?

I just saw your reply (unfortunately I'm at my daytime job now and won't be on my DAW till the evening).

I'll try it and see if it works (and post back the outcome).

I have the latest Rapture 1.2.2 Update installed yesterday no problem (along with the Expansion packs), latest Snow OS X 10.6.6 update, and Logic Pro 9.1.3 latest update too.

I also read someplace here in this forum that another thing to try is delete (or rename, to play it safe) a file called programs.lst or something like that (don't remember), and Rapture will re-create it next time you open it.

If the F5 tip doesn't cut it, I'll try the delete method.

Cheers!

as for the LST file..

just rename it and it'll generate another new one.

Well, I tried the F5 technique (on Mac OS X) and it worked beautifully!

Thanks!
