Because of a hard drive failure, I've had to re-install Sonar X3 Producer (64-bit) as well as Dimension Pro 1.5. I've run into some issues. Supposedly I should have a significant amount of instrument libraries available, and yet when I go to select them, I only have 1-25, plus the Expansion Packs. VSTs, plug-ins, and everything are installed in the same directory. Re-installing DP 1.5 hasn't fixed this issue. I have a project file that makes use of "99 - Vintage Sounds Library," so I kind of need it. Any thoughts?

Have you looked with windows explorer to see if the samples are where they should be,
ie. "(wherever you put it)\Dimension Pro\Multisamples\" ?

Hi, Paul. Thanks for your response! I've only ever had Dimension Pro 1.5, so if there were additional sound libraries, they would have been in Sonar X1 (though they do not appear to be after going through the installation files again). The multisamples are where they're supposed to be, and Sonar knows where to look for them. DP seems to want to load .prog files only, while a lot of these multisamples are in .sfz format. Loading them individually doesn't seem to do anything even though I thought they were compatible. I'll try digging around a bit more, and failing that, I may see if I can find some older Sonar installations. Sent a message to tech support as well.

 
The programs for DimPro are in "C:\ProgramData\Cakewalk\Dimension Pro\Programs" where you should also see a
"99 - Vintage Sounds Library" folder.
 
I also have the 99 - Vintage Sounds Library and also started with X1, so maybe it came with that.  I don't remember.
 
Did you press F5 in the DimPro browser to update its index ?
 

Here's where things get a bit weird. I have the multisamples (along with everything else) installed on my secondary hard drive:
D:\Cakewalk\Dimension Pro\Multisamples
 
And yet, for whatever reason, Program information for DP is in the directory you listed, and only a fraction of the .prog files that I should have are in there. Pressing F5 in the browser did not yield any results. (A simple workaround may be to install everything to C:, but it's an SSD with limited hard drive space and I'd rather not do that.)

Don't confuse prog files with Multisample files.  Prog files are small in size and are usually installed on the C drive.  Many users, however, choose to install the multisamples on a separate drive.
 
Sounds like you may need to reinstall the "missing" libraries to get those prog files back.

Hello Jon. Your post reminded me of something--I still hadn't yet formatted my old hard drive. I took a peek and lo and behold: the prog files for my missing libraries were in there. I managed to copy and paste them into the current C: drive, and sure enough, they work. 
 
Still unable to figure out as to why those libraries didn't install in the multiple attempts I had at installing and re-installing DP 1.5, but for future reference I will have to keep these libraries backed up. Thanks!
