THAT'S how I was doing it! Thanks! Event Inspector wasn't enabled by default in Sonar Platinum and it had been a while since I had to do it.

I find the Event Inspector an invaluable tool. I have it positioned right at the centre of my Control Bar

I did to but since Cambridge it does not stick

Set the track's MIDI Output field to the desired channel, then bounce clips within the track to themselves.

+1 to Event Inspector if the goal is just changing the MIDI channel.

Looks like you have the answer(s), but I personally highlight a region and use Find/Change (Interpolate).
