I am just upgrading to Sonar Platinum and I am downloading this to a brand new computer, but it seems like Dimension pro keeps freezing toward the end of the install... can anyone help me out with this? is it supposed to be this slow at the end or is it just me? BTW I am installing through Command Center? Also.. I have packs in Addictive drums but they do not appear when i open AD in Sonar Thanks so much.... NEW TO THE FORUM....

Dim Pro is a large download.  It takes a while.  How stable is your internet connection?
 
Addictive Drums or Addictive Drums 2?
 
Did the computer ship with a 'vendor installed' antivirus program?  If so, which one?  Have you tried disabling antivirus during the download/install?
 
Does Windows Update show that it is up-to-date?  The install could be clashing with windows trying to get current.

I am on a pretty ok connection def not the fastest i feel like i have the download its the installing process thats been slowing down it gets up to the piano synths and then i don't see any notifications in the command center its just sitting there when i minimize the command center i get a message saying there is an install in progress and nothing happens for bout 40 min or so is that normal... smh
 
It came with Mcafee but i never officially activated it because I wanted to get AVG I just got the computer yesterday i have not received any updates i'm aware of but i'm also new to Windows 8 so it could very well be happening in the background....

The only part of the addictive drums installation you'll get from Cakewalk is a serial number and a link to their website.

If you have the AD2 online installer (that's what you need) then use that to get your files from XLN Audio not Cakewalk.
