Are there any contributors to wikipedia round here???

I just happened to follow a few links and came across Sonar in wikipedia ... and had to realize that the information given there is dated, short, lacking pictures, etc. ... but somehow still written as an ad (???)

Overall, the presentation is not what you would expect in what has become one of the world's most important resources. Cakewalk can't write that article (as it should not be an ad!) but some of the long time users possibly could contribute ... I recommend having a look at how others DAW are represented at wikipedia (e.g. Logic) ....

That has to be one of the worst Wiki pages I've seen.

it should be maintained/administered by marketing, just like these forums should...

It is not that bad.  Exactly what else could be said ... that would be better.  Pretty basic, but if you are coming to wiki to learn about buying SONAR you are pretty limited in your imagination.  For something contemporary like SONAR it is better to provide links than go into too much detail.

I have a hard enough time just keeping my father's entry corrected (he played for OU and everyone in OK is an expert).  I can only imagine how hard it would be to keep up SONAR's entry.

One thing I can say is run it by Cake first - or at least here on the forums.  They can get it locked as "owner" of SONAR, but I'd rather have them working on SONAR than spending time on Wiki.
