I'm on Windows 7, and not likely to change soon.   Can others confirm if this is still an issue on Win 8?

With font size (<Control Panel> <Display> <Make it easier to read ...>  SMALL setting) the track pane in PRV works correctly.
With font size ( '' same '' --  MEDIUM setting) the track pane in PRV does NOT work correctly.  (Names disappear if too long for the display space).

I would like you to submit a change to Sonar as a Feature Request for a change to how Sonar reacts to re-sizing of text in Windows screen display.

I have really bad vision, and I have a really hard time reading things on the screen without leaning in pretty close, but if I change Windows to display text larger, I too have display problems with text or screen objects in Sonar.  This forces me to keep the settings in Windows smaller than what would work better for me, even though what I would like to change the size settings to is supported by Windows (the 150% setting).

I don't know if they could do it - but yeah, I would like you to submit this as a feature request, if you don't mind.  I would sure vote for it.

Has Cakewalk confirmed that misrendering of the screen in certain scenarios is 'by design'?

i'd expect a windows app to honour windows settings, and sonar used to be a-ok with this, but i think the x-series gui overhaul left some stuff in the dust...

Glad to see I'm not the only one leaning in close to the monitor...

It is the tension from this kind of thing that makes me grumpy on this forum.   Used to be I could relax in a chair, or stand and pace, and still see the screen.  Now I'm hunched over, stretching one way for the mouse, the other for the computer keyboard, and a third way for the midi keyboard.   And I don't mean that my vision has gotten worse, just that Sonar 5 on windows Xp was always easy to see, and Sonar X on windows 7 is just hard to see.

Cakewalk have confirmed to me that it designed to work with Dislpay setting 'Smaller' despite 'Normal' being the windows recommended (in Windows 8.1).

Console faders and  pots, Cakewalk designed (as opposed to 3rd party designed) prochannels all won't work for me with mouse movements. just scroll wheel, when outside 'Smaller'

This is a pain for me, as I have a touchsceern Full HD laptop. Setting to 'smaller' makes all the touchscreen function way tool small to control with touch, as well as read the adjustments.

Works in 'smaller'

Just to be clear,  I hadn't posted about having the leans bad in jest.

I TRULY empathize with this issue, and I TRULY am hampered by the inability to have Sonar display properly if I change the Windows display size to 150% (I am at 100% at the moment, to fit things on the screen).  I cannot recall if the issues also occur at 125%, but they certainly did at 150%.
