I'm staying somewhere for a few days and they have better internet than I do at home. So I have a Sony Laptop my daughter just gave me. I put a new SSD drive and I installed W7 64 bit. I want to use it as a portable Sonar Workstation while on the road. Nothing else, just Sonar.

I directly downloaded everything from my account last night to this machine as I want the files to update my main DAW when I get back home.
I just installed Professional directly from the download. It opens in demo mode and is looking for command centre.
So I downloaded CC but it won't install. Say's it needs Net Framework 4.
So I downloaded Net framework 4 and Windows say's I already have the most up to date version installed?

Any ideas on that or is there a way to activate Professional without the CC? --I SOLVED THIS PART see below.

but still looking for the net framework issue.

Well I have good things to say because Sonar actually told me what to do. First because I'm logged on to my account I think it was easier than if I was actually off line.
I thought I poke around in Sonar first and that was smart. \There was a blue box in the lower right that asked me if I wanted to activate off line! Cool.
That takes you to your account page with clear instructions on what to do. Good job Cake.
It was a simple process of using the Help menu and the Activate offline option.
Bingo Professional up and running fully activated.
Only glitch is actually Command Center now has a desktop icon but clicking it gets the Net Framework error. I will uninstall CC now..I hope..

Hey could one of you wonderfully helpful Forum hosts move this to the store forum. I think I should have posted there.
