  • [Solved] Pro Channel Graphics Glitches after Braintree update.

After updating to Braintree, I am now getting graphics issues with the console emulator (until I enable it) and missing images on the insert new pro channel module list. I saw a thread where someone had the same issues but that was a while back and I don't remember what thread it was. Note: I do have the latest Nvidia drivers installed.

A couple things I did on a whim was to clear the picture cache folder and to hold shift while starting platinum. No luck.

Try reset in Preferences->VST settings to restore module images worked for me.

Allston update? Have I missed out on something?

Not trying to add more fuel to the fire but I was reading the fixes list in the Braintree pdf a little bit ago and one of them is the following: Missing Console Emulator had graphical issues in new tracks until enabled

That sounds like what I experienced AFTER I updated to Braintree. I hate to say it but it makes me wonder what other fixes might not actually be fixed. Luckily, the vst settings/reset worked, but apparently, based on another thread, it doesn't work for everyone.

This type of thing and the new PC Module causing Sonar to freeze up in some of my projects.. Not a confidence booster. :(

Basically, the fix lies "dormant" until you reset/rescan. You have to tell SONAR to adopt the new behavior.

The other thread is dealing with a different issue, but one which has the same symptoms.

Thanks for posting this.  I had similar issues and now they're solved.

I have done all of the above including uninstalling previous versions of Sonar and the bug is not fixed for me...

As you can see it "says" saturation but the bitmap/icon is the tape simulation that I replaced with it...even if I insert rather than replace what it does is fills the saturation bitmap with whatever was on the screen real estate prior to the saturation, in my bitmap cache the saturation icons are there (both small and large) yet it never actually inserts them or if it does (on one or two occasions) the icons are not working (no mouse changes ever happen to settings on the knob or switch)

Ah. Understood. Thanks for clarifying that.
