I was recording a project with addictive drums and True Piano
It crashed when exporting audio.


I re-recorded everything, exported audio successfully, but then could not reopen file.
Using shift-enter to load it, the culprit was Addictive Drums.
I tried loading another instance and copying the midi tracks over and, crash.
 
Other vsts in project are: Kontakt (new york grand) and izotope 6.
The addictive midi format is not compatible with other drum programs.

Addictive drums seems to be the culprit.  Cannot load, save and reload any project with AD2.

hmmm no problems here..

I will try to play around with this for you - this afternoon, to see if it has any issues on my system.
 
Please post back, if you have any updates on your situation here.
 
I would think perhaps installing it again might be worth trying.

Is there an update on this potential bug? I just installed Platinum and AD2 today. Multiple times while auditioning the sounds from AD2 it would suddenly kill the audio...no sounds from AD2 at all. (All other tracks on the project produces audio) It resets only if you close Platinum (closing AD2 alone does not work) and relaunch the project again, then it works until the next crash which occurs frequently.... I have observed at least 6 times over an hour or so. 

What are your PC spec's?
