Following advice on this forum, I put my Win 7x64 OS on  C:\ and all my programs including Platinum, on D:\.  The notes on the Cambridge upgrade said that it would recognize this separation.  Yet, after using CC to upgrade, it put the new SONARplt.exe on C along with VSTs, and Rapture, and PC plugs.  I can now start the old (2.01 Build 38) and the new (2.2 Bld24?) versions.  Now I have to carefully move the install and hope I get everything in the correct place so I can take advantage of the upgrades.  I saw no where in the CC update to direct the installations to where I have SONAR installed on D:\.  So how do I fix this?  What was updated and where is it on C:\ other than C:\Programs\Cakewalk?

Just sayin'

I believe you can only install elsewhere if you don't go through the CCC.
You have to download and run the installers separately.  I don't know how you download the individual installers.
There will unfortunately still be stuff on the C drive, and not just from Cakewalk.

Larry , you experienced the same frustration as me ...so at the end you must choose :

use the CC or not

Me , to be able to install on D i had to skip the center and do a maunal install ....now the question for us is multiple

1) how can we get the center to reconise when we're up to date

2) how to handle roll back of versions

cause as soon as i use the center for any version handling on sonar , it creates one in C: ....the problem is that the one in D is not touched ....
