I guess that's workflow related because FL Studio is as fast as it gets, and it actually fits what you're asking for to the point. All the years I've used it I personally haven't had many issues with external plugins.

My exact thoughts.   I *still* use P5 and it's always a very creative experience.... just works for me....

Don't know why they didn't roll P5 into Sonar along with Matrix View.

I was thinking of getting a Surface 3 tablet and putting MC7 on it. Went to the CW store looked at it last week, clicked "Buy Now" and it was $19.99

Went back today and it's still $19.99

I dont really understand the point of this at all.. I dont ever feel like things are in the way or slow or clunky at all.. everything is super fast and super quick for me... I dont see the practical point here.

I dont  .. I dont .. I dont .. so everything you have said is subjective and applicable to your own setup. Just because YOU might have a super fast latest system does not mean everyone else on the planet has a similar super fast system.

Multiple SSD Drives in Raid for speed

All i can say is lucky you to have all that which of course will run everything you have like a rocket ..
