  • Has there been any change in keyboard shortcuts for Platinum?

There is a special QWERTY keyboard set up for SONAR X3 and X2.  http://www.logickeyboard.com/shop/cakewalk-sonar-x2-3129p.html
I have one for another platform and I find it very handy to remind me of shortcuts that I don't use much.

I remember that they disabled "O" for offset mode.  Mine is still set with a key-binding it seems.  Must be a left over from my preferences and some custom key-bindings.

Mine seemed to import my preferences from X3.

Mine were imported, except that all the cal shortcuts failed because platinum had a new cal directory.

At least Shift+C in Track View has changed.

I don't remember what shift+c was.

Neither do I. But I do like what "shift+c" does now!

[edit]
Dave as far as I can tell, most of what was in X3 is still the same in SP. But I can say this, that I have my number pad set up a certain way with key bindings and when I installed SP I had to reconfigure "some" of my key pad bindings. Not all of it was imported. No idea why that happened.

I went into X3 and looked to see if anything was assigned to "shift+c" and there was nothing assigned to it. Maybe it wasn't used at all.

I no longer have X3 and prior versions on my system so I can't check it, but IIRC "shift+c" would reset all peak meter values in the Track view, which was quite useful.

Yes you are right Tak. It re-sets the Peak Meter values and the Peak Markers. And it is really useful to keep hitting the shift+c as the project plays to get a constant reset of the markers.

Thanks for checking that, Grem. Yes, that was quite useful, and I'm thinking of assigning the command (back) to shift+c because I rarely use the slim version of Control Bar.
