Hey everyone, quick ?.  I am using a Focusrite Saffire 2i4 and I want to record a few of my sessions.  Whenever I use a program (Fraps/Open Broadcast) I get no audio while Im in Sonar.  I get audio outside of Sonar but not within.  Im just curious what setting I need to use to get sound within.  Thanks everyone.

Hey Steve, I unchecked it and still no audio.  Its annoying, I get sound outside of it but as soon as I hit play in Sonar NOTHING.  No audio is recorded.  Hmmmmmm

Okay I found out that Open Broadcast doesnt do ASIO. Are there any screen capturing programs that do ASIO? I use my Focusrite as my main sound. I have no other source.

I was curious so just did a quick Google search, but didn't find anything definitive other than screen recording software + ASIO doesn't seem to be common.   Does your interface WDM drivers just for this purpose?

It seems like my interface has the recommended drives (WASAPI is recommended for many).  I have used ASIO for years and I am at 48000hz and it says to go to 44.1 and I just wasn't sure about switching everything.

Yeah, I use ASIO as well.   I just figured if you had the option of using another driver type only when capturing screen videos that might work.

Well I think I do so I may do that or if all else fails I could always capture the screen and input the mp3 and not change any settings lol.
