Windows 7,  No uninstall for sonar platinum, it does not show up in Control Panel, Programs.   [edit] answer is below a few comments down, Reinstall the Cakewalk Command Center, "CCC", if necessary, then connect with your user name etc, then Right click on the installed program within the Cakewalk Command Center, choose uninstall.

Alas, it is not a clean uninstall, just found that it deleted some X3 VST plugins.     Hells bells.

Googling often does wonders:

Well that link gives a bunch of users who asked the same question but no answer.  and no links the the threads.

And just wasted another 10 minutes trying to track down the list given in that unhelpful answer, and still no information.    Sonar Platinum is NOT LISTED in Windows 7, Control Panel, Programs and Features, which is, perhaps, the same thing as windows 8 "command center"

You didn't read the thread properly. Somebody even posted a video. Somebody commented about right click ccc etc.

How could you have missed all this whilst spending 10 min reading the thread?

How could you have wasted 10 mins reading the thread when you took just 4 mins to respond to my post and have time to edit another post? Do you have a tardis?

For anyone else who gets to this thread and does not like to watch videos:

you have to Re-install the stupid command center,  "CCC" = Cakewalk Command Center, and then right click on the elements with the green dot beside them, Sonar Platinum, in this case, and choose "uninstall".

Cakewalk:  it is a really really bad idea to defeat the operating system's usual way of install/uninstall procedure.   Sonar Platinum did not show up as an "installed Program" for windows 7.

As stated in that thread I posted.. You didn't need to watch the video. Have a nice day.

I don't know who you are, user splat,  but the answer you first provided was NOT a thread, it was an excerpt from a search, with no links.      Respond more slowly, and more helpfully.

The link in #2 looks like a thread from this forum using the mobile theme to me.
If you wish to read http://forum.cakewalk.com/m/tm.aspx?m=3155407&p=1&p= in the progressive theme, remove the /m  after cakewalk.com from the URL http://forum.cakewalk.com/tm.aspx?m=3155407&p=1&p=

I prefer to use permalinks http://forum.cakewalk.com/FindPost/3155407 because I believe they display in which ever theme the browser is running.

Actually, not quite done.     50 minutes and counting.   The uninstall deleted some x3 plugins.
