Im not too worried about the price..more ease of use basically.. Im new to this and need something user freindly that sports vsts etc. cheers

It will be mainly electronic music rather than a lot of live stuff. Heavily dependant on vsts etc.

SONAR Artist, Professional and Platinum are basically the same, it is just the number of toy's and extra tools that come with each version.

If you're not worried about the price, definitely go with Sonar Platinum.

Ok sounds good cheers...could you explain what the difrence is between sonar x1 / x2 / x3 and the artist, professional and platinum? Im a bit confused. Lol...thanks for your help thus far :) 👍

X1, X2 and X3 are outdated versions.
See the feature comparison chart and the product pages for the differences between Artist, Professional and Platinum.
Very roughly, the level of included content differs.
