"here's that first quick fix! ...it's for something caused by the new billing model..."

I'm looking forward to the first real fixes... ;)

Thanks for that observation.

I had a problem with Platinum crashing after I finished working on a song. I paid for the year membership not the monthly. I installed this update and it seemed to do the trick and now i don't have anymore problems. However now I got another issue. I opened a song I have not worked on in a while and I can't seem to get the meters to work properly.

In the control panel view when I pan a mono acoustic guitar track center from the left position the meter does not respond. The track does pan and do what it is suppose to do but the meter does not reflect that. So I looked in the track view and their is no response from the meter at all.

All the pans work properly and everything does what it is suppose to do but the meter does not work. In meter options I removed the meter and brought it back and it started to show the guitar track in the meter but only on the left side even though it was panned center. When I panned it all the way right then the meter started to display the right side. When I went back to center the meter went back to the left.

Not sure what to do about this nut I wonder if anyone else had this problem. It seems therer is a Small meter bug to squash. I can work around it.

I only have one master bus in this song and no plugins are being used. all the pro channels are off because I was stuill recording tracks. Now it's time to mix and the meters are acting funky.

Some fix. Hasn't helped me one bit. Still went to demo mode.

I would check the track's interleave (should be stereo) in the Inspector. Also, make sure you're not input monitoring/echoing. If you are, the meter is representing incoming signal, rather than the signal coming from the track's clips.
