Hi Folks.
I seem to be having a problem with the Playlist in Sonar 8.5. In Sonar 8, if there was no pause set between the songs in the playlist, sonar would proceed to the next song when the current one finished. In sonar 8.5, no matter what the setting, the song keeps playing into empty bars when the song finishes, and never progresses to the next loaded song. I imported all of my settings from sonar 8 - it still works as it should. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Ahh...found the problem. For some reason when I loaded up 8.5 "stop at end of project" in global options was unchecked. Just thought I'd leave a response in case anyone else runs into the problem.

Why would you use Sonar for playing songs??? Just  gotta ask.
Win amp is the king of play back as you can toggle that function. I'm unaware of any other player that allows you to stop after every song. That's why I use it for my backing tracks at gigs. Gives you time to think between songs( reach for beer)

I use playlist because it's so easy to pick the next song to be ready as soon as current one finishes. Hit SPACE and off goes the next one. My songs consist of 5 audio tracks, drums, bass, rhythms, sol and BVs which I can mix differently for different gigs/PA systems, or knock out the bass if a bassist wants to play along etc.

And of course, Sonar can send Midi change messages to my synth, pedal, guitar (Variax)
