Yeah, it is a tiny installer. Run a VST reset.

You know, I wondered about that, but it's a PC module. Would a VST reset have an effect on that?
I'll try it and let you know what happens.
Thanks.

Yes, PC modules are modified VST2 plug-ins. The path to them is silently added to the scanner from an entry in the registry. If you have not run a scan since the update, this is the problem, no need to reset, run a scan. However, if a scan has been run, it may take a reset to pick it up.

Good news.
Which was it, auto scanning turned off or reset required?
Either way, please edit the initial post and add [Solved] to the subject line.
Thanks

I did do a reset, which may not have been needed. I ran a new scan immediately afterward, and Boz appeared in the PC module list.
I do have auto-scanning turned off (out of habit from previous versions) but I understand that is not really necessary any more.

OK, the reset was probably not necessary. I use the default setting "Automatic Background Scan." It introduces about 2 second delay when starting SONAR for the initial scan of the folders holding my 700+ plug-ins. Still much faster than older scanners and eliminates issues like what you just experienced.

Copy that. I'll turn on auto-scan for March.
Yeah the old scan was excruciating, so I only ran it when I added new plug-ins.
