HI,

I'm pretty bad at finding anything old in the forum so maybe it has already been covered.

Over the years I have installed all the SPLAT isntallers (sonar, other content, etc.) using the command center
and I have everything in hands.

If we focus only on the Sonar installer istself does the october 2017 latest version contains everything addded added to all the update we have received in its lifespan?

A bit for fun (but a little as a backup) I am trying to re-install SPLAT and all the bonus plugs/content/etc. on a 2nd a bit older) PC  without using the command center.

note  ( a little crazy): for fun also I'm intalling X1/X2/X3 to see what used to the there and what got removed over time. I am at X2.....

23.10.14 was the last full release of Platinum with Gibson's actions there will be no more S-Plat.  However Cakewalk by Bandlab is more or less what would have been released in the November release but with no third party plugs.  However all the stuff you got with S-Plat will work in CbB.

Basically it's better to use Command center because it will bring everything up to date and keep track of what you have and have not installed.
I did the same as you back in November just to see how the offline activation worked. It's just a lot more work and in my case I missed 2 important packages. So even though your doing it just out of curiosity I still recommend using CCC  because it's faster and bulletproof.

And note you should always install Sonar versions in sequence starting with the oldest.
Somewhere was a list that showed what came with each version.
But what you can do is do bare bones install and choose what stuff to load up.
