  • Magnifier with the Arrow Pointing down?

I have been a die hard staff view person but I finally decided to gtive the PRV a fair chance and I must admit that there's a lot that I like about it. That being said I'm having a bit of trouble with the PRV's time ruler. Specifically the mouse pointer changes to a magnifier with an attached downward arrow and I can't select the now time . I can go up to the regular time ruler and do it but that's not efficient.

So my questions are these:
1.What is that thing good for?
2.How is it used?
3.And how do I get rid of it when I just want to be able to move forward or backward in the PRV without having to go up to the regular time ruler?
I hope someone knows.
Interesting fact- when I tried to take a screen shot of it to show you what I was talking about, it wouldn't show up in the shot.
 Thanks!

1. That is for zooming. Its also in the normal time line in the TV.  Moving the mouse up or down will zoom the display.

To not see it or have it interfere be careful where on the time line you place you mouse pointer. The time line has hot spots not unlike the track view or the PRV for using a smart tool. Also I hope you are talking about Sonar 2015.

I have searched for that on my computer to no avail. Where did braintree install it?

The 64bit default location for the CHM and PDF are "C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\SONAR {Platinum|Professional|Artist}"

Page 166 of the PDF is can also be found in html format 3/4th of the way down on this page http://www.cakewalk.com/D...=Introduction.24.html#
