Does anyone else have this problem or is it just me??.....  If I record say, a guitar clip (audio), and Loop is turned on, the clip timing gets way off (late)..like  2-3 beats....upon playback.  I'm recording the guitar through my Line 6 UX-2 interface and using my Tascam audio driver.

If I turn Loop off, the clip is in exactly the right place upon playback.

Driving me nuts....

When an audio clip gets changed to a loop, sometimes the length changes. To fix, first make sure it starts at a beat boundary and really is an exact number of beats long. Then make sure the track inspector clip tab groove clip properties number of beats is set properly. Then grooving it should work ok.

Hey bvideo...  I'm not referring to Groove Clip Looping...  I mean when I have LOOPING enabled (like to repeat the verse over and over), and I record a guitar lick for example, and the lick starts at Measure 3 beat 1, when I play it back the clip somehow gets moved to around Measure 3 beat 3 or more.  It doesn't seem to matter if the lick I record is inside or outside of the Loop Points either.

Metronome count-in can sometimes cause recorded audio to be laid down late in the timeline. If it's some exact number of beats or a full measure, I would suspect that. This issue is fairly rare, and usually intermittent for those who encounter it. I suspect that some audio interfaces advance their sample position pointer while the count-in is running in some circumstances, causing SONAR to miscalculate where the audio belongs.

Here's a post by another Line6 Toneport user who reported the same thing:
