So I'm liking the ability to navigate around the Track View with the Numpad. For example, it helps when splitting breaths throughout a vocal track to later process some gain reduction on all of the split clips at once. Now I can visually identify most breaths, but there are the few occasions when you can't tell much. The Now Time isn't linked to what I'll call the "navigator" (gray line accessed by pressing "0" on the numpad) since I don't know the proper name, and if I want to play from the current position of the navigator to double check what I'm splitting I have to use my mouse.

Is there a way to make the Now Time follow the navigator, or is there an option that moves the Now Time to the navigators position in which I can bind a key to? It would make the workflow much faster.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Good question. I haven't ever used the Enhanced Editing feature much, but I don't think there's a way to sync up the Now time to the edit cursor (Ref. Guide terminology). You might want to implement Now time nudging CALs per this post so you can nudge the Now time to the same location from the keyboard:

Combine this with Page Up/Down to move by measures, and you should be able to move around pretty efficiently without grabbing the mouse or jog wheel on a control surface.

I'm not always sure what the default keybindings are off the top of my head as I have so many of them customized. Page Up/Down without Ctrl for previous/next measure is one of them.

Thanks Brundle for giving me the proper name of the tool. I was able to learn how to switch between different modes and access other options after checking the documentation. Now one thing I noticed is that the 7 key isn't linked to anything when using the Enhanced Editing, hopefully someone at Cakewalk notices this thread and passes on the idea. The 7 key should move the Now Time to the Edit Cursor.
