Has anyone successfully downloaded an Arturia product (like Mini V)?

I paid for it, got several emails with license keys, but no working download link.  All I get is a link to an update page that has updates to all products.  (The Mini V update is a file Windows can't open.)

After several emails with support, I still don't have a product and they have my money.

Advice welcome.  No more purchases from this company.

I'm not sure... I have their' original Minimoog which they gave away free when releasing their new line... It downloaded and works fine, but it was quite a while ago.

Thinking about it i seem to remember the diwnload link being hard to find in their system...

If i can get online tonight, i'll see if i can gave a look...

Thanks, buddy!

This has been a week of frustration:
1-Can't get a download link for Arturia.
2-NI's Session Guitarist Strummed Acoustic has to be reloaded every time I load a Sonar project, and it times out—even though Service Center swears it's activated and updated.
3-My email provided is having major software/design issues.

Not a good week.

Konrad go to the downloads page install the Arturia software manager, first thing on the list, I believe.  Enter your login details and your serial number it will then offer you the installer programs for you Arturia products.

It works like XLN, NI and Cakewalk control centres.

Also try running the software managers as administrator -
Makes a difference sometimes, especially when initially activating a new plugin.

FWIW, I recently re-downloaded and installed Arturia Moog Modular V on my new PC build, using the Arturia Software Center running as administrator -
Works fine.

Hi Konrahd! I own the Oberheim and the ARP and both installed and work fine.  Wookie is right that Arturia has a software center that will manage the install process.  Read the prompts carefully and you should be fine.  I'll subscribe to this thread to make sure you're all set.

Daneil, Thank you.  After a ton of emails with Arturia, I got no help or download link.  Based on your advice, however, I installed the ASC (Arturia Software Center), and once I put in my email and password, the download link came right up.

Now, why couldn't Arturia have told me that?

I really appreciate your help.

Glad you got that sorted out Konrad!  Enjoy your new instruments!  If you subscribe to the KVR database, it will tell you automatically when things get updated too.  A little bit of work up front to include all of your VSTs but once they're set up, KVR does the work for you!

Well, Actually, I haven't gotten it to show up yet, although I did find and run the download link.:-)

The dll may just be in the wrong place.  Investigating now.

I own the Arturia V Collection 3, and it is my 2nd favorite batch of sounds, after Komplete 8 Ultimate.

The support is a bit sketchy - I actually got quicker results from one of the forum sites when I had an issue when I first bought the package.

Glad that part of your week has gotten better.

I thought most of the NI software licensing was handled by their Service Center software.  The other thing I can think of was suggested above by another member - running Sonar with the explicit Run As Administrator option, anytime you have to do licensing through launching Sonar.  (or maybe that particular software wants Sonar to be running as administrator all the time)

Please note that Run As Administrator is different than simply having a Windows user account that is of type Administrator.  When you run a program in Windows, you get a reduced set of execution privileges, even if your user is an administrator account.  This is a security feature that is part of Windows.

To get elevated execution privileges in Windows, they built the Run As Administrator option into their Properties choices.  If you just want a single execution with Run As Administrator, right-click on the launch icon for Sonar, and simply click on Run As Administrator.  (you will then get a little pop-up dialog asking you if you want to allow that program to run, which you do).  If you ALWAYS want Sonar to launch with Run As Administrator set, right-click on the Sonar launch icon, click on Properties, then click on Advanced, and then check the box for Run As Administrator, then click on OK, then click on Apply (which may ask you again for administrator rights to make that change), and from then on, launching Sonar from that launch icon will result in it launching with Run As Administrator.

I hope that helps, and congrats on the Arturia purchase - GREAT sounds.
