Hi
Been a long time since I posted.  Broke arm and couldn't play for some time.

I have two odd problems in Platinum.

1- when i open an old file, I get a crash due to a VPA Compatability Error.  I don't know if it is every file, but it is every one that I have tried.

2- After docking something, I lose my ability to edit it using my mouse.  I have found this on FX and Instruments.

Thanks for the help.

In regards to VPA you probably have a similar DLL plugin in your VST path. And/or you may need to update a particular plugin.

The second issue is odd. What happens the mouse no longer moves? Try updating your display and mouse drivers for now, there may be better suggestions later.

If there are specific plugins involved in your issues please let us know.

Cheers..

Glad to see you back space.  no idea about the mouse problem, though.

Splat - I tried several - the one that got me first was the PPG 3.V 64 bit plug in from Waldorf.  I could not select the browser, though I could change knobs - strange.  Then I opened the Friedman Amp from UA.  Could not select presets OR turn knobs.

AT - I know they workin on it.  In a laboratory underneath Virginia.  Saffiiiee!
One Adam 12 - see da mammie now.

With the VPA error - how do I resolve this?  If it is a plug in that is affecting all of my old files (likely a compressor or a reverb - huh?), is there a clean way to isolate which one it is?

Thanks

You can open a project in safe mode and enable plug-ins 1 by 1, saving and closing/re-opening after each save to see if you can find the offending plug-in.
