  • Prochannel Knobs Stuck and Difficult to Adjust

Expected Results
Adjusting the Prochannel knobs by clicking dragging should be smooth and not get intermittently stuck. It should also have the ability to adjust with mouse scroll.

Actual Results
Clicking and dragging to adjust Prochannel EQ knobs creates knob freezes, and inconsistent behavior. It also is not possible using the mouse scroll wheel which as a result renders the Prochannel EQ operation very frustrating and intermittently useless and thus forcing me to use the Nomad factory EQ which knobs does drags consistently.

Hello Wookie, thanks for offering help.

System
Sonar X3 Studio (E)
Win 8.1 (64 Bit)
4 Gigs Ram
Intel Core i3

Attached is GIF (using Licecap GIF) to show the prochannel knobs getting stuck and stuttering.
This happen to all the knobs in the knobs in the Prochannel EQ.
Not sure if this happens in other prochannel modules as well.

What sound card are you using and what driver, how many cores does the i3 have and what speed is it running at?

I am using an USB mic with ASIOALL. The knobs though have difficulty no matter what sound card is activated.
The processor has two cores running above 3 GHz.

PS..I checked how much my CPU usage is during that event and its below 20%. I am really non-plussed about this knob freezing. It seems others cant reproduce it?

Does the mouse work OK on other aspects of the program, I am wondering if you have a problem with the mouse.  As for ASIO4all you do realise that it is just a wrapper that is in truth running WDM/KS but looks like ASIO to any software talking to it.  You may be better using the WDM/KS driver.

Are you using a display setting other than the default in the Windows Control Panel > Appearance and Personalization > Personalization > Display Settings?

Thank you for the interest :)
I am using a Logitech cordless keyboard and mouse.
I will check if I can reproduce this with a wired mouse.
