So the image is not scaled up any. I have seen what appear to be mouse issues reported when display settings were set to 150% in Win7. Don't have Win8.1 to test.

I will check if I can reproduce this with a wired mouse.

Any news on this?

Many thanks..

This has been solved.
Normally you left click on the knob and hold the mouse click to adjust, but this gave me the knob stutter behavior.
How I solved this. (Different mouse click method)
1. Left click on knob as usual.
2. To adjust knob (don't hold in left click) but right click, hold and drag

I've had similar issues with logitech drivers. None with the windows ones, maybe that will help if that is indeed what you are using?

Nobody has specifically reproduced the issue and no posts for 3 weeks now.
So throwing into Sonar forums to see if anybody else has it.

Note a workaround has been posted by the OP.

I can Replicate the behaviour

I have 4 Mice, 2 wired 2 wireless. I have no batteries form my Wireless, and is on my to do list today.

On the 2 wired mice, right click can sometime be controlled in upward motions, but still tricky, but down causes a jump from max to zero, on both mice. Holding left click produces smooth predictable results. To use left click I have to select the control first with a right click, so I have to  both buttons to use a control.

OK this is all controls for , Track, Track View inspector, Console. It's also the same if I use the touch pad on the laptop.

Seems I use the scroll wheel more than I realised. Which I noticed the OP has a thread requesting this on the ProChannel, so maybe he does the same, uses the scroll wheel where posible because he can't control them with mouse movements

Set Windows to touchpad when usb pointer plugged in, in case there was a conflict with two devices at one. No change.
