Using the mouse when mixing faders and pan knobs is not smooth with the mouse on my laptop, it snaps up and down, have no full smooth control...is this something reported before? selecting the fader and pan knob and using the mousewheel works as it should though... And all this works nice on my desktop but not so on my laptop, I have everything up to date, latest sonar and drivers etc etc...
What to do?

Have you downloaded the vst version of WD-40 and tried spraying that on the knob? 
 
OK, just kidding, it may be graphics card issue. Platinum runs fine on my home PC but at work, moving the knobs on some of the NOMAD stuff causes drop-outs. My home PC has a decent graphics card in it, whereas the work PC has generic on-board.
